Fans of Bethenny Ever After saw Bethenny Frankel's romance and marriage to Jason Hoppy unfold and ultimately begin to unravel. Now the talk show host tells Us Weekly that she can't even share all the details of what went down between them. "People probably know about 10 percent of the story and I can't share the story," she says.
What she can share is how she feels about divorce itself with a metaphor that is surprisingly more sweet than bitter. "Divorces are like ice cream, there are a lot of different flavors. Some can be very amicable, and some can be very peaceful and easy, and some can be really brutal," she said and then, hinting that hers might be of the latter variety, "I honestly did not have any idea how difficult in the very least it can be."
One thing the single mom is not ready to do is grab a spoon and re-enter the dating field. "It's like having food poisoning and not wanting to eat again," she explains. "In theory it sounds somewhat appetizing, but in reality it just doesn't seem all that interesting to me."
Bethenny may be staying away from metaphorical food, but when it comes to real treats she's forging ahead. She recently just launched a new line of Skinnygirl mocktails and also told Us Weekly that she can't wait to bake Christmas cookies with her daughter Bryn. "That's the best thing about kids," she says. "They make you young again."
